A Forgotten Place

This is a painting of an old unused barn in my village. It represents the themes of desertion and neglect, depicting how everything eventually becomes discarded and forgotten. I wanted to create a sense of apprehension with the ghostly colours, ominous looming shadows in the foreground and an eerie open door as the centre of the painting.
