Lockdown Affairs: My Secret Garden

Stelena drew this painting during the first lockdown in March 2020. She loved experimenting with acrylics and mixed media and she produced a series of works which were beautifully celebrated at home. We live in a block of flats with a gorgeous communal garden. Stelena painted these images on our balcony, overlooking the green space outdoors. It was lovely and warm and sunny and very picturesque outside in our Tufnell Park area. As we were confined to stay at home the majority of the time, the colours show the blue skies, the green grass, the purple sunset lights and the very sunny rays.
