I was inspired by the artist Cristina Troufa and the personality in her work. I used minimal details to capture a transparency and fragility I was trying to portray. I created it as a self-portrait because I think it's easiest to display emotion and feeling with the paint when you know the subject or if you are the subject! It was really interesting to paint because I usually use a thicker texture, I enjoyed the painting process too!
