Two years ago, I moved to the north-east of England from Hong Kong. The landmark of Norton, Duck Pond, always caught my eye. The sight of ducks swimming freely and quacking incessantly fills me with relaxation and joy. The vibrant buildings encircling the pond add to its beauty. Painting from my photographs immortalises cherished memories of my transition to the UK. It's a way for me to express gratitude for settling in a community filled with love and support.
