Portrait Project: My Mum

We have been working on portraits and identity in art at school. I have been inspired to start a series of portraits of my family. This is my mum; I wanted to capture a realistic interpretation of her. I think you can see that she is warm and kind. I feel I’ve caught the sparkle in her eyes when she smiles at me.
