Ronaldo the Runner

This piece was inspired by my cockerel (Ronaldo) running after some corn that I dropped for him in my garden. I wanted to capture the movement on this piece of art, of my favourite chicken with his red wattle almost flapping. I used pastels strokes to create the feeling of movement within the picture.
