Reflecting on the past, constructing and effecting working-class life, both historically and within contemporary day, is what embodies my work within etching and illustration. This etching is based on a personal family photograph, reflecting on my working-class social heritage and social constructs of the class system. Here, I have visually represented the idea of working-class community life and social interaction through line work, ranging of various techniques and textures.
