The garment portrays a balance between the symbiotic and destructive relationship we, as humans, have with our environment. There is a synergy between the wearer and the ‘jumper’, illustrated by the gradient in opacity and moulding of the solid lattice to the body. In contrast, there is a conflict within the garment between the man-made and natural elements. Chemicals are used to halt the decomposition of the eggs, leaving them in varying states of suspension, unable to decay.
