Funmilayo

My piece was inspired by Black Lives Matter and the subject is a Nigerian activist, teacher and political leader called Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti. The background of the piece takes inspiration from the pop artist Kehinde Wiley who I love. I used Posca watercolour paint pens and I like that the flowers overlap the subject and all blend in. I was very proud of this picture and so I framed it and gave it to my dad.
