Tower Block Through the Westway

West London is where I've grown up. From Ladbroke Grove to Harlesden, I'm familiar with the streets, the parks, the locals, and the markets. This photo shows a dichotomy between light and dark that seems to encapsulate my experience of growing up in London. The framing of the tower block in between the imposing, dark structure of the Westway, accentuates the beauty of the block, despite the social inequality that tower blocks can represent.
