I have always seen my mother as someone I rely on. I can always go to her, and she has a consistent belief in me as well as an unbelievable ability to cope with all aspects of her life at once, which I greatly admire. To portray her with such saturated colour and harsh lighting gives her the power I feel is sometimes concealed by her everyday tasks as a mother and wife.
