I wanted to create an organic and natural outfit that powerfully demonstrates the capabilities of sustainable fashion. My focus was the waistcoat, the materials of which were pre-loved ties from Demelza. I began by draping the ties over my brother and tailoring them to his body to ensure the perfect fit. I sewed along each side of the ties to create a wearable tie waistcoat. To accompany this, I found a shirt and some trousers that I dyed naturally and organically using turmeric.
