Life Jacket
Ada, Age 13
The jacket is made from unfinished sewing and knitting projects throughout my life. Even though those old pieces and discarded projects may seem useless or failed, all it takes is some attention for them to be beautiful. The lining of this is made from one of the few projects I did manage to finish, two pairs of pyjama trousers. Even these, on the surface, seemed like failed ventures but, when serving as part of the jacket, they were perfect.
