Beautification

This artwork encompasses my mindset during hard times, like the pandemic. Although my surroundings were depressing, I still beautified the world around me, seeing the pretty side of the situation. It’s a message that we will find a way to cope with our struggles even if it seems impossible. But this beautification may become dangerous - when do we stop glossing over the darker reality and burst this bubble containing our illusion?
