The Big Shoe

I was inspired by the Converse trainers that I was wearing on the first day of the project and thought it would be interesting to scale it up big enough to sit in it! I was initially experimenting with different sculptural materials and techniques but loved the process of using cardboard. The piece took about 6 weeks, but I love the result.
