Movie Night

Shape and form is what we were focusing on in my art lesson. Our topic was food. I chose to draw popcorn. After all, what has better shape and form? My teacher said my drawing was too small and I wouldn’t be able to paint the popcorn. I proved her wrong! I used graphite shavings in the background. She was delighted with my result. I love the compositions and work of Wayne Thiebaud. I like how he arranges everything in rows. He is my inspiration. He recently died so this is a tribute to him.
