I was investigating the theme of nature and the wilderness when I decided to create my own woodland creature. I developed my design by taking images of my parents and distorting them digitally. I then illustrated this on procreate and added details to create my final character design. I made a wire armature to attach the separate hands, feet and head. I used wadding and bandage wrap to bulk out the body and finally painted the face, hands and feet with acrylic paint. Finally, using a sewing machine, I made clothes and a cross body bag for my character.
