A Boy Reading

I was inspired to make this painting after studying the works of L.S. Lowry and Clementine Hunter. I wanted to capture my everyday life in art like they did. I used 5 paint colours like Lowry and blended them to make all the colours I needed. I like the bright colours Hunter used so I used brighter colours like her. I painted myself reading as I love reading and do it every day.
