I wanted to try a self-portrait as I had not really done one before. Although I have done mine in pencil, I really liked Vincent van Gogh's way of using colour that shouldn't really be there, but it looks good and right. I tried experimenting with this using yellow around the eyes and in the hair. I took a picture on my iPad and worked from that. It was early morning so that's why my hair is all haywire!
