In a Spiral

In school, we were looking at the Black American artist Corey Barksdale. I liked his wonderful use of bright colours and how he paints faces with swirls and patterns. I have designed a lady with big afro hair. This was the first time I have used pastels and art in this way. It was a great learning experience, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
