The Station Master's View

During lockdown I attended my mum's online lessons as she taught her own class. In one of them she taught 'perspective' which I really enjoyed. At first, I drew a street scene but then settled on a train track. I prefer country scenes, and black and white makes it look like a page from an artist's sketchbook. The empty train track mirrors the isolation of the station master as he works. Every day he stares down the track wondering where he might go.
