Medical Mishaps

This series was from a shoot inspired by the photographer Rachel Jablo who had taken images about her chronic migraines. These images were taken to document my own problems with my health. My left ear is burnt from the inside after being prescribed eardrops which weren't suited to my issues, this has left me partially deafened and in lots of pain since. The issue has only gotten worse throughout the years and hasn't gone away. Now my ear is very scabby and itchy and it often bleeds which causes discomfort. Each of these images are representative of the issues I face: the sand as the scabbing and dry skin, the blood representing the bleeding from inside, the slow shutter speed image representing how my hearing has gotten muffled.
