The Pineapple of Imagination

Anna, Age 11

  • Drawing
  • Oil pastels and colouring pencils on paper
  • A3 portrait

This is a piece of surreal art inspired by Salvador Dalí, a famous Surrealist who created many extraordinary pictures. I chose to use a pineapple, but instead of pineapple leaves, I decided to draw art materials as well as flowers and leaves. Every aspect of it represents me and who I am. I love creating pieces like this because they unleash my imagination onto the paper, allowing me to show what is hidden in the depths of my mind.
