I decided to base my artwork on the current war in Ukraine and show the refugees fleeing the country. I wrote a poem to accompany my artwork:

When hope is gone, when darkness has no end, there’s always a little bit of kindness to send.
To give more happiness by the mile, all you need to do is give a smile.
Now that you know that when hope seems to go down the funnel, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.
