Granny’s Hill/Colmers

My painting is of the majestic Colmers Hill rising out of a sea of mist and fog like an island. I have been studying David Hockney at school and I love his use of vibrant colours. This painting is of a famous hill near Bridport in Dorset where my granny lives. Every year she walks up this hill for her birthday. I decided to paint the hill in the style of David Hockney as my granny admires his work.
