Bethany has CHARGE syndrome. She lives in a completely silent word, being profoundly deaf, and she is a kinaesthetic, visual learner. Painting enables Bethany to express her emotions through various media - so crucial when she can neither hear not speak.
Bethany created this piece by blending acrylic paints to create the tonal sea and sky, as well as cardboard to create the grass.
Bethany often uses art as a distraction from a chaotic and sensory overloading world that surrounds her.
