Hanksy Baby

Henry, Age 10

  • Print
  • Painting on acetate and printed onto paper
  • A3 portrait

Henry originally intended this acetate paint and print piece to be a butterfly and displayed in landscape orientation. It was produced at his after school art club. However, Mum first saw it in portrait orientation and said it reminded her of one of Banksy's babies with a gun and Henry agreed this was much more fun! Henry's auntie nicknamed him Hank when he was little, and so the butterfly-baby-with-a-gun became "Hanksy Baby".
