My painting was created during lockdown in response to the death of my budgie, Swingin’ Sam. I didn’t have much schoolwork to begin with so I found myself doing art in the garden shed whilst my mum and brother did their work. I began by painting pebbles using some acrylics which I had for my birthday. I then started to paint bigger pictures on canvas and MDF, including this one on board.
