Following a series of sleepless nights in the summer holidays, I was compelled to document how I felt and what I saw whilst trying to rest. I was inspired by the quiet streets outside and by fleeting thoughts that came and went.

These feelings and thoughts would become hazy and hard to remember once I had woken up late in the afternoon. To illustrate this sense of distance, I wanted to lean towards a more surreal and dream-like style.
