Dark Jungle

We started to learn about jungles at home school during lockdown and I thought they were amazing places! I wanted to try and paint a jungle and really enjoyed experimenting with mixing the various shades of green in the canopy. I love having things half in and half out of the picture too as to me that's what it would look like if you were stood right there - your eyes can't take it all in at once - so that's why I added my jungle bird in the corner at the top. He makes me feel like I am really there looking around this crazy cool place trying to spot the hidden animals.
