Bread Chair

I was inspired to make this sculpture whilst studying food and how I could incorporate it into my work. I focused on the making and production of food and wanted to create something that was hand produced from start to finish. From specialising in textiles I have a interest in texture and structure so I used various different types of bread and dough to imitate the forms and qualities of the different parts of the chair.
