Edward the Purple Prince

My intention for this painting was to create something that reflects the city I live in, Leeds, with my own twist. I had taken inspiration from a statue of Edward the Black Prince located in my city square. Whilst painting, I had also decided to add a shade of purple in the form of a square in the middle of the canvas, and I added this into the painting because the purple square refers to my alias, unique style and signature.
