This piece was an experimental portrait of a woman. The artwork was intended to capture femininity, this being a feature that is usually looked down upon in modern society. I felt passionate to attempt to encapsulate this feeling of dismissal that many women face. Her blank stare expresses the feeling of isolation and not being heard as if talking through a wall.
