All 57 girls in Year 6 worked together to produce this woodland scene. It was really good fun because we used lots of different materials to create the painting, including lolly sticks for the pines, cardboard for the bark and sponges for the foliage. We enjoyed working together as a team. The painting is very big, 3.5m x 1.5m. Everyone moved around and changed to different sections, which meant that we all had an opportunity to try each technique. It was brilliant to stand back and look at our finished painting, because we could see all the textures and tones that we had created. The picture really came alive and we are very proud of it.
