This piece is inspired by photographer Gregory Crewdson and is a staged image of my younger brother in our back garden. I experimented with holding my phone light near to my camera lens to create different atmospheric light rays from the sides of the frame, and to illuminate the character of the image. The half eaten apple was a spontaneous addition to the image but it emphasises the lonely narrative.
