The title I chose to explore was 'Working'. I made numerous studies of people doing different jobs in my local area. For this painting I wanted to focus on one figure only, to show the concentration and movement of the subject. I structured the painting so that the chef was in the centre and surrounding him were the various different utensils and equipment in the kitchen.
