Sid the Sloth
Patrick, Age 11
As a child with autism, Patrick can find tasks involving motor skills challenging. When he draws or creates, however, this fades away. Escaping into the world of art always seems to be a place of pure happiness and solace where anything is possible; it’s where Patrick’s inner self truly comes alive. Patrick says: ‘This is my sketch of Sid, the sloth character from Ice Age. I drew him by sketching with a pencil. I like that he’s happy and brave’.
