I have always admired and loved my natural hair, whether it was in twists, box braids or cornrows. Even though my hair isn’t society’s beauty standard, it’s my beauty standard. It’s so much more than just hair; it’s structure and love, occupation, and a bond. My mother, from the day I was born, nurtured and cherished my hair with love and care. That’s a bond my mother and I with always share, together, full of love.
