Camberwell Grove

I was walking back from an art shop in Camberwell and it was a spur of the moment thought when I took a photograph of Camberwell Grove as I knew I wanted to paint it. I thought it was interesting and that I could capture the detail of the shop and the pub next to it, since it had quite contrasting colours. I used a Sharpie for the foundation of the canvas but then decided I really liked the look of it on top of the acrylic too.
