Happy Floating House
Sofia, Age 5
Sofia loves to paint. When she heard there was an art competition, she insisted that she submit a piece to the school. We spent the evening painting a few pieces when she focused on a happy house floating through the sky. She wanted to try mixing colours so that she could create a new, darker colour palette from all the bright colours I’d given her. Normally her paintings are full of bright colours but this time she settled on more muted tones of her choosing.
