Theseus and the Minotaur

I was studying Greek myths at school, during lockdown 1. The story grabbed my attention and I decided to be creative and make a stop motion movie, which I'd never done before! I really enjoy using all sorts of materials to make all kinds of creations and I decided to use clay here to make the figures of the gruesome Minotaur and the hero, Theseus; I built the labyrinth using cardboard; I took the shots on an iPhone; and of course, there's ketchup for blood! I loved editing my movie, especially choosing the music and sound effects to create tension and atmosphere. It was so rewarding to see it all come together and it gave me something fun and interesting to create when we were all stuck at home. It's a positive memory of lockdown.
