Inspired by the Russian Constructivist movement, the sculpture captures the dynamic movement of industrialism. The piece incorporates simplified geometric units, with links to Malevich, representing a variety of commercial objects, such as tools, musical instruments and furniture, spinning around a conveyor belt. The use of holes and openings allow light to pass through, casting bold shadows, which in turn animates the piece and accentuates the heroic aspect of industry.
