I have always loved the art of lino print. It works very naturally for me and I enjoy every step of the process. My coursework has stayed close to the female figure, primarily focusing on the body and not so much the face due to how different artists portray the female body. I love using small details so I try to make linos very large so I am able to incorporate tiny details such as the zipper of her top. Bright colours are also what makes lino printing so special, you can make so many prints each holding different emotions due to the colour you decide to print with. In this print, I feel as if the vibrant orange and blue really suit the personality of this piece, bright bubbly colours which match well with her bouncy hair and her funky top.
