Homage to Mondrian (Orange Square and Circle)

Movement and line and colour form an overall sense of harmony, strength and form. Using orange as a colour of hope and joy from a year of isolation and being apart from family, how much we need each other and being together; orange from a favourite t-shirt from the high street, so fashion, too art - one culture informing another. I also make my own clothes that inspire my paintings and use marker pens instead of paint as a way of giving a more dynamic and fluid way of using what is around me, taking abstraction into 2021.
