Cecil Beaton was in the bookshop. Hidden amongst the shelves of art books was this book of photography. It is a book of Cecil’s photographs taken in India, 1945. I was inspired to remodel it into something else. I used mixed media on each spread to bring colour and new messages to the timeless, black and white images. The book has been turned into an artwork once more. Hidden amongst my shelves of art books is this book of ours.
