These photographs are an aspect of the final outcome for a project within my A-levels. Within this series I wanted to explore the idea of emotions and how they effect our view of ourself and the world around us. Each photograph portrays a different emotion; sadness, fear, disgust and anger. By portraying these emotions in such a venerable way, I became physically and mentally absorbed by these characters and what they represented. I really wanted to illustrate what these emotions meant to me and I feel this idea shaped the outcome to be both me and not me, characters which are so dramatic yet represent such a real part of my life.
