When I was thinking about what I was going to paint, I immediately thought about my experience of climbing up a mountain covered by glaciers on a trip to China in the summer of 2019. I summited at 4680 meters. It was very cold (even at the height of Summer). I was out of breath when I tried to climb the last section of the mountain. When I finally reached the top, I was so happy, I went on to have a hot-dog.

The glacier seemed white everywhere, but if you looked closer, a rich tapestry of colours became apparent.
