Falling Chick
Alister, Year 13
The inspiration for my piece came from the idea of a chick falling from the nest towards its death. The bright colours recreate the confusion and alarm that the chick may experience while it is falling, as well as the strong pull of gravity as it falls. Its body is almost fetus-like which shows the vulnerability of a defenceless young chick.
