Creating a disposable plastic form in permanent ceramic gives this object the importance that something that can cause such destruction deserves, it also suggests that disposable plastic is now a very permanent problem for our environment. I chose to cover the bottle in physical imagery that insinuates the movement of water. I also intertwined recognisable coral formations, that look as though they have grown and been changed by the form of the bottle: a metaphor for the changing environment marine life is forced to live in.
